If you already own a device that is POE ready, you will only need an injector with the correct voltage to match your device. Other installations will require a mid-span injector to insert the voltage on the unused pairs in 100mb ethernet, and a splitter on the other end which splits the network and power connections on seperate cables to attach to any device of your choice.
